You need to feel like you can be yourself. Aka make the weird reference to your favorite TV show, strike the funny pose, or whisper an inside joke in your partner’s ear.

And I understand that “being yourself” all of a sudden feels so much harder when someone has a camera near you. It’s hard not to wonder if your smile looks forced (it doesn’t) or if your hands are in a weird spot (don’t worry, I’ll tell you where to put them instead).
