Surrounded by twinkling lights and their loved ones, these two lovebirds tied the knot,

to seal the deal with a kiss for the rest of their lives.

If I could summarize this couple in one word, I would choose honor. From the way they spoke to and about one another, the color of their attire, to the intentional elements of their ceremony, every step to the altar was paved with honor. As I prepared their details in each of the Inns, I was met by friends and family, who had traveled many miles to see these two become one. The smiles, laughs, and sentimental tears shared between all showcased the depth of love, care, and careful intention these two choose to live with every day. It was simply an honor to be there.

The enchanting setting of the Summit Street Inns made for an elegant affair. Two sister inns connected by a brick patio, the Summit Street Inns carry the brick house charm of downtown Winston-Salem and pair it with the wooden craftsmen charm of West End and Ardmore. These late Victorian homes showcase the wooden grandeur of Tudor regality, paired with the soft femininity of Queen Anne Victorian style for a brilliant and striking appearance.

As the preparations finished up indoors, outside the scene came together with rich hues of gold, pink, terracotta, teal, and blue appearing on the warm brick patio below.

Guests began trickling into the twinkling ceremony space, and slowly but surely an anticipatory sea of white gathered to await the brilliant bride and groom.

The music began, and at the strike of the violin, the couple made their way to the ceremony.

The ceremony was full of symbolism and honor for their traditions, backgrounds, and ancestry. The colors of Blue worn by the bride and groom honored the Jones family's traditional welsh crest. Tying a Celtic knot, inviting friends and family to gather and pray over them, and then jumping the broom on their exit, were each included to celebrate their identities and future as a part of this collective community.

With the ceremony finished, we headed to the top lawn for portraits.

The evening continued with amazing food, a surprise poem, and a night full of dancing.
