An Autumn Session on the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, North Carolina
When I got an inquiry for portraits here, I had to say yes.
I love Biltmore Estate; the architecture, forests, and gardens.
My clients had planned this day out for weeks, organizing outfits and preparing the entry.
With Passes in tow, we headed into the estate.
The entrance fee is a consideration, however, if you are annual pass holder, you can bring anyone in with you for no fee. We used my clients pass, and were able to take pictures on and around the grounds.
As you make your way into the Biltmore Estate, the sun begins to set, casting a warm yellow glow on each and every piece of stonework.
Photography is allowed after 4:00pm until 6:00pm, allowing for prime light, and little crowds.
For this session, we started in the lower gardens cool house.
A Garden Fit for a Queen
My clients love fantasy novels, and the like. This shoot was a friends weekend treat for them both. For weeks, they planned their outfits and coordinated their travel, so that they could be Queens of the Estate, here at Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. You are not allowed to change outfits while on the property, so we met up at Starbucks just outside the gate, they got ready, and off we went. The estate was not crowded, or busy at 4:00pm. Many people were making their way out, as we traveled up into the gardens.
