With a brisk wind, and bold spirit we set out.
The weather read for a five mph breeze, but the blustery blue ridge had a different plan. As the wind whipped across the ridge, a warm light settled through the clouds making Laurie's skin glow in the appalachian ambience. It was a dream set-up.
Laurie's bright blouse and statement skirt allowed her to stand out boldly among the ancient Appalachians. As the wind continued to blow it offered the perfect lift, and lightness, adding movement and depth to these simple, yet pristine moments.
This beautiful overlook rests around mile marker 290 on the parkway, and it is a dream location for any photographer. The rich rocks, and rolling landscape take you into a romantic scene. Whistling winds, and hushed voices all careen themselves softly about the rocks, admiring the grandeur set before.
All in all, tonight's session planned around Laurie's Blue Ridge hideaways did not disappoint.
